Fetch Pet Insurance covers injury and disease in every adult tooth, not just the canines. Plus, you get full coverage, up to your annual limit, for periodontal disease (the most common disease in dogs and cats), oral tumors, trauma and more.
With Geico, you’ll be redirected to an Embrace or Trupanion pet insurance plan. Embrace Pet Insurance only covers up to $1,000 in dental illnesses per year. Trupanion offers limited dental coverage. If your pet requires costly dental surgery, you could be on the hook for an expensive vet bill.
Geico pet insurance doesn’t enroll older pets — Fetch does
Fetch insures pets 6 weeks and older with no upper age limits.
With Geico, new enrollments are limited to pets under the age of 14 years old — whether you go with Trupanion or Embrace.

We’re not just here for your pet — should you require hospitalization for 4 days or more, we’ll cover up to $1,000 of your pet’s boarding fees.
Boarding fees aren’t covered in a standard plan with Geico. Embrace Pet Insurance doesn’t cover boarding fees, so if you’re ever hospitalized, you‘ll likely need to pay someone else to take care of your pet or pay for boarding fees out of pocket. With Trupanion, boarding in the event of hospitalization is only available if you pay extra for an add-on.
